About the Role

Omnis Partners is proud to be partnering with a global entertainment provider seeking a Commercial Business Partner to join their high-performing finance team. This pivotal position will shape the commercial function’s performance and strategy through data-driven insights and analysis.

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Group Chief Commercial Officer, delivering valuable financial insights and strategic recommendations. You’ll play a key role in supporting decision-making across areas such as brand and customer strategy, digital performance, pricing, screen content, and corporate sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver insightful market performance analysis and robust reporting on commercial and market share trends.
  • Review and assess pricing initiatives, collaborating with the group pricing team to improve internal reporting and profitability.
  • Provide actionable insights into content performance, market assumptions, and genre analysis.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer trends, competitor activity, and sales channel performance.
  • Build and maintain advanced analytical and reporting tools covering digital, B2B, and customer data.
  • Enhance commercial databases and data flows to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and challenge business cases and investment models.
  • Lead on data strategy and analytical capability, supporting finance and wider business teams with actionable insight.

About You

You’re a data-driven problem solver with a passion for turning complex data into actionable commercial insight. You have a strong commercial mindset, are confident influencing senior stakeholders, and can challenge assumptions to drive strategic improvement.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong data and analytical skills – including proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ideally, knowledge of Python and Amazon RDS.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analysis into clear, impactful recommendations.
  • Understanding of business KPIs and commercial performance drivers.
  • Experience partnering with commercial or digital teams in a multi-site or online-led business.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to influence at all levels.
