Freelance Data Strategist

A global algorithmic media company are seeking a highly consultative Data Strategist to join them in this new freelance role.

• Seeking an experienced Data Strategist familiar with media data OR data savvy Media Strategist.
• Must have experience of working across the UK and USA data landscape.
• Expert in category level data storytelling and presenting insights via pptx.
• Expert in exploring unstructured data opportunities to create structured, industry-vertical relevant data sets.

Your remit will be to help scale a repeatable data led service for end clients, looking to leverage unique blended data sets to support media buying and trading.

With access to 1000 of data sources, clients come to them for recommendations around which data sources to leverage in order to inform media planning and buying. They’ll then turn this into an algorithm and in turn a decision tree, in order to trade and buy media, optimising media spend and ROI.

As a fairly new business, they’re now at a point whereby they are getting to category level solutions, work across all sorts of categories, and need to turn this into a repeatable process.

They require an experienced Data Strategist to kick start their journey of starting to roll this out as a category level solution for clients, telling repeatable category level data stories and building long term products. Once this has been realised across all key verticals, there is a clear opportunity to look at data innovation, where there might be data sources they can restructure to give bespoke examples for end clients.
