Senior Project Manager – Data & AI

We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to join a fast-scaling technology consultancy delivering data, platform, and AI solutions to major enterprise clients. This is a client-facing delivery leadership role, responsible for guiding cross-functional teams through the full delivery lifecycle.

The role is best suited to someone who thrives in dynamic environments where Agile is applied pragmatically, stakeholder alignment is critical, and governance underpins successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex, multi-workstream projects across data and AI
• Own the project lifecycle: planning, sprint ceremonies, backlog management, risk & issue resolution
• Work closely with Product Managers, Analysts, Engineers, and client-side teams to unblock dependencies and drive delivery forward
• Set up and enforce governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and continuous improvement practices
• Coach and guide teams in Agile best practices, adapting delivery methods based on environment

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of project or delivery management experience in tech, data, or AI
• Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban and hybrid delivery models
• Confidence managing projects with varied stakeholders, ambiguity, and shifting priorities
• Clear, structured communicator with a track record of building trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable balancing short-term delivery goals with long-term programme vision
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

Nice-to-haves

• Background in consultancy or client-facing delivery
• Familiarity with data platforms, ML/AI workflows, or enterprise cloud environments
• Experience running Agile ceremonies and refining backlogs or writing user stories

£65,000 – £75,000 + bonus + development support
