Applied AI Engineer

We’re on the lookout for a standout 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 to join one of the 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘀 most influential labs in the AI research and applied science community.

⌚ 6-month contract starting Mid-August

📍 2 days onsite Central London

💰 Outside IR35 (rate depending on experience)|

This is a unique chance to work at the intersection of software engineering and generative AI, building applications that demonstrate what’s possible with the latest LLMs, multimodal models, and more.

🎯 What you’ll do:

• Rapidly prototype and develop scalable applications using GenAI models
• Collaborate with researchers and product teams to bring ideas to life
• Optimise performance and contribute to best practices for GenAI deployment
• Work on real products that impact millions – quickly

💡 What we’re looking for:

• Solid software engineering skills (2+ years)
• Experience building and shipping products (start-up/fast-paced background a plus)
• Hands-on with GenAI (LLMs, vision models, etc.) and ML infrastructure
• Comfortable with tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face
• Excited by innovation, fast iterations, and real-world impact
