Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Omnis Partners is working with a fast-growing Data & AI consultancy that delivers high-impact cloud and data solutions for some of the UK’s most recognisable organisations. We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with Snowflake expertise to join their team and take a leading role in client delivery.

The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll design and build scalable data pipelines and architectures on Snowflake, working directly with enterprise clients. You’ll be hands-on with engineering, while also guiding best practices and mentoring consultants in delivery teams. This role will suit someone who enjoys technical depth as well as client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Snowflake-based data solutions for enterprise clients.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into outcomes.
• Implement best practices in performance, governance, and security.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within delivery squads.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ Data Engineering experience with strong Snowflake skills (Snowpipe, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, UDFs, Tasks).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern tooling (Airflow, dbt, Terraform).
• Client-facing skills and strong communication.
• SnowPro certifications highly desirable.
