Forward Deployed AI Engineer (Contract)

We’re working with an insurance client looking for a Forward Deployed ML / Applied AI Engineer to help take agentic and LLM-based solutions from prototype through to production. This role sits at the intersection of Applied AI, MLOps, and Architecture, working on an agentic pricing system.

The Role

• Embed with an insurance client to deliver production-grade agentic AI pricing systems

• Translate business problems into applied ML solutions

• Design, build, fine-tune, and deploy models

• Develop and deploy agentic AI workflows (RAG, orchestration, tool use)

• Own MLOps and deployment: CI/CD, monitoring, model lifecycle management

• Complement applied AI teams with strong engineering and architectural capability

• Operate in a customer-facing, delivery-oriented role

What We’re Looking For

• Senior ML / AI Engineer with real production experience

• Experience deploying multimodal agentic solutions

• Strong Python engineering background

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, fine-tuning, and open-source models

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex)

• Solid MLOps / LLMOps experience

• Azure experience preferred

• Comfortable working directly with stakeholders in regulated environments

• Able to operate autonomously in fast-moving delivery settings
