Omnis Partners is supporting a high-growth, venture-backed AI platform company that is transforming how global financial institutions automate complex workflows. Following a significant Series A raise, the business is scaling rapidly and investing heavily in its engineering platform.

This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and take ownership of the infrastructure powering a cutting-edge AI product used by enterprise clients worldwide.

The Role

As a Platform Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of cloud infrastructure, enabling engineering teams to build, deploy, and scale reliably. You’ll play a critical role in shaping DevOps practices, implementing observability, and ensuring the platform is secure, compliant, and cost-efficient.

This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys building systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure in Azure (AWS exposure beneficial)
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across backend, frontend, and data services
• Establish best-in-class observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting)
• Drive security best practices, including secrets management and vulnerability scanning
• Prepare infrastructure for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance and audit readiness
• Optimise cloud spend while maintaining performance and reliability
• Own networking architecture including VPCs, private networking, DNS, and load balancing
• Champion operational excellence across the engineering organisation

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and GitHub Actions
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS)
• Experience managing production-grade databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL)
• Hands-on experience with observability tooling and monitoring frameworks
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation

Experience:

• 4–7 years in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles
• Proven ownership of infrastructure from design through to production
• Experience in high-growth or startup environments preferred
• Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR compliance processes
• Track record of balancing scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
