Omnis Partners is partnering with a Sequoia-backed AI startup that is hiring its first marketing hire in London.

This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on Founding Growth Marketer to join an early-stage AI company and build the marketing function from the ground up. The business is developing AI products for complex operational workflows, with a focus on helping enterprise teams improve how work gets done across high-value, process-heavy environments.

This role would suit someone who has already owned early-stage marketing in a B2B SaaS or AI company, and who is comfortable working closely with founders, sales, product and customers to turn early market insight into a repeatable GTM engine.

The role

As the first marketing hire, you will work directly with the Founder and commercial team to shape the company’s growth strategy, positioning, messaging and demand generation activity.

You will be responsible for building the foundations of marketing across:

  • ICP definition and customer segmentation
  • Positioning, messaging and category narrative
  • ABM and demand generation
  • Pipeline creation and campaign experimentation
  • Sales enablement and commercial messaging
  • Early GTM playbooks
  • Customer insight and market research
  • Marketing tooling, reporting and funnel visibility

This is not a role for someone looking to inherit a mature marketing machine. It is a hands-on, high-ownership position for someone who enjoys ambiguity, pace and building from scratch.

We are looking for someone with clear early-stage marketing ownership, ideally within B2B SaaS, AI, enterprise software or another complex B2B environment.

Relevant backgrounds could include:

  • Product Marketing / Growth
  • Demand Generation Lead
  • ABM Lead

You should have experience working close to revenue, with a strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles, enterprise buying committees and how marketing supports pipeline creation.

Key experience

The strongest candidates are likely to bring:

  • Experience building marketing capability in an early-stage company
  • Strong B2B SaaS or enterprise software marketing experience
  • A commercial approach to growth, pipeline and revenue impact
  • ABM, demand generation or account-based growth experience
  • Strong messaging, positioning and customer insight skills
  • Experience supporting long or complex sales cycles
  • Comfort working directly with founders and senior commercial leaders
  • A hands-on attitude across strategy and execution
  • Interest in AI, automation and emerging technology

Experience in procurement or supply chain is not essential. What matters more is an ability to market complex AI or B2B SaaS products to enterprise buyers.

The role is London-based, with a hybrid working model of around 3/4 days per week in the office.
